1 meter = 1,000 mm. Enter any value to convert meters (m) to millimeters (mm), or use the table below for common values.
mm = m × 1,000
Example: 10 m = 10,000 mm. To convert the other way, use m = mm × 0.001.
| Meters (m) | Millimeters (mm) |
|---|---|
| 1 m | 1,000 mm |
| 2 m | 2,000 mm |

The meter is the SI base unit of length, defined since 1983 by the distance light travels in a vacuum in 1/299,792,458 of a second.
The millimeter is one thousandth of a meter. It is the standard unit on engineering drawings, for rainfall, and for screen, sheet and tool sizes.
Use the formula mm = m × 1,000. For example, 10 m = 10,000 mm.
1 m = 1,000 mm.
Use m = mm × 0.001. 1 mm = 0.001 m.
