Formula

Amount in B = Amount in A × (EUR→B rate ÷ EUR→A rate)

The ECB publishes every rate against the euro. Cross rates between two non-euro currencies are derived by dividing their euro rates.

From the European Central Bank euro foreign exchange reference rates, which are published once per working day around 16:00 CET.

Is this the rate I will get from my bank?

Usually not exactly. Reference rates are mid-market rates; banks, card networks and exchange services add a margin and sometimes fixed fees.

How often are rates updated?

The rates shown are the latest ECB publication included in this version of the site. The date is shown with every result.

Why are some currencies missing?

The ECB publishes reference rates for about 30 widely traded currencies. More currencies may be added from additional data sources in future.
