1 terabyte = 1,000 GB. Enter any value to convert terabytes (TB) to gigabytes (GB), or use the table below for common values.
GB = TB × 1,000
Example: 10 TB = 10,000 GB. To convert the other way, use TB = GB × 0.001.
| Terabytes (TB) | Gigabytes (GB) |
|---|---|
| 1 TB | 1,000 GB |
| 2 TB | 2,000 GB |
| 4 TB | 4,000 GB |
| 8 TB | 8,000 GB |
| 16 TB | 16,000 GB |
| 32 TB | 32,000 GB |
| 64 TB | 64,000 GB |
| 100 TB | 100,000 GB |
| 128 TB | 128,000 GB |
| 256 TB | 256,000 GB |
| 500 TB | 500,000 GB |
| 512 TB | 512,000 GB |
| 1,000 TB | 1,000,000 GB |
| 1,024 TB | 1,024,000 GB |
A terabyte (TB) is 10¹² bytes, the typical capacity unit for hard drives and SSDs.
A gigabyte (GB) is one billion bytes. Drive makers use decimal gigabytes, so a "1 TB" drive shows about 931 GiB in many operating systems.
Use the formula GB = TB × 1,000. For example, 10 TB = 10,000 GB.
1 TB = 1,000 GB.
Use TB = GB × 0.001. 1 GB = 0.001 TB.
